These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of blessedits.com and related pages (the “Site”), operated by Blessed Income Tax Service, Inc. (“BITS,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. No tax advice; no client relationship
Content on the Site is general information only. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice for your situation, and tax laws change often. Using the Site or sending us a message does not create a preparer-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and BITS sign an engagement letter, which will govern the services, fees, and responsibilities for your return.
2. No guarantee of results
Refund amounts, tax savings, and processing times depend on your circumstances, the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, and the actions of tax agencies. We do not guarantee any particular refund, outcome, or IRS or state processing time. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for reviewing your return before you authorize filing.
3. Not affiliated with the government
BITS is a private business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service or any state or local government agency.
4. Client portal
Our secure client portal is provided by a third-party vendor and may be subject to that vendor’s terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, submitting false information or information about another person without authorization, or using automated tools to scrape it.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, including the BITS name, logo, text, and design, is owned by BITS or its licensors and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as the IRS or our portal provider. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. This section does not limit any commitments in a signed engagement letter.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Liability for tax preparation services is governed by your engagement letter.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence requires otherwise.

12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
